1. I also recommend reading Douglas
My Bondage and My Freedom is an amazing book. I tell everybody to read it, and bought my mother her own copy.

Back in February and March, when I first got interested in the Arab Spring and was learning about Egypt and getting really deep into Libya's revolution and checking out some stuff on Syria and learning all about Anonymous, I realized what was going on.

I posted it on my blog, but my friends said I was crazy and stopped talking to me. I took great joy in posting an Oakland general strike poster on my blog and saying "Remember when I said the revolution was coming here and posted a general strike poster in March and you guys said I was crazy?"

This is World War III. It's humans versus corporations.

Might make an OP later stating my case for that, with images from Oakland. The "Don't fuck with Oakland" graffiti on a bank. The giant "Death to Capitalism" banner. The wording of the poster - "Liberate Oakland".

I hope everyone's sending winter supplies to their local Occupy camps, because they're currently the frontline soldiers for us humans and we need to support our troops and keep them well supplied.
