Getting your head blown off? Thumbs up!
Repeated tours fucking with people who never attacked us? Yellow ribbons for every fucking Republican congressional office!
Flag draped coffins? Well ... OK ... but the American people shouldn't have to actually see them.
Sadly for you Republican mother-fuckers, some of us get home. Some with TBI, some with PTSD, and some with missing limbs. But your response has always been consistent. Cut VA benefits. Cut vet's pensions. Cut the GI Bill.
But first and foremost, you always seem agree on one central belief. When we get home we need to shut the fuck up!
John Kerry - volunteered for combat, multiple Purple Hearts, and a Silver Star? Hey, let's make fun of his wounds and wear funny band-aids at the Republican National Convention! Max Cleland? Sure he lost three limbs in VietNam, but let's portray him as being "soft on national defense"!
Marine Scott Olsen? Comatose in an Oakland hospital for daring to speak up in support of OWS.
US Army soldier Stephen Hill, on active duty in a war zone? Booed by a Republican debate audience for having the audacity to put his ass on the line while being gay!
Yeah, Republicans support the troops ... as long as they're dead or mute.
