6. Exactly...
if you're gonna take someone's children, I feel there should be no doubt as to abuse/neglect.

When my kids were younger, my daughter came home sick on a Friday...from school. I had antibiotics that my son was taking..he was already sick..the doc was gone for the weekend, so I started my daughter on the antibiotics. She'd taken the medication in the past, and I knew she had what my son had. I called the doc on Monday...told him I'd started her on the same ones, and he called in another prescription.

When she got to school on Monday, one of the teachers asked how she was feeling, she told her teacher she was much better that her brother was sick too and that I gave her some of his medicine so she wouldn't get worse.

The teacher called child protective services on me. I was beside myself when they called and wanted to talk to my husband, me and the kids. My daughter was terrified...she thought they were gonna take them and it was her fault.

Thankfully the woman that came to the house was nice, and said she'd done the same thing with her kids.

It's a scary thing when people start questioning you as a parent.

Don't misunderstand, I think the names are horrible, and the bigotry the kids are living around is awful too, but I don't know that is qualifies as abuse.

Like you I'm glad I'm not the judge.
