The cops in foreign counties can be reasonable and treat you as a human being, although it varies. The more socialist institutions in the country, the more likely cops will treat you as an average member of the working class. That's how I know America is a fascist country; cops show great deference if they perceive you as a member of a protected class and dish out the abuse if you aren't.
