And a fairly wealthy one at that. But he would probably be better than Sarkozy.

I think that the NYPD and prosecuting attorney are following the correct procedure. Their logic for denying him bail is impeccable. He will get his day in court, and we will find out the truth of this matter for once and for all. Yeah, it sucks for him to be stuck in Rikers with an election coming up, but no more sucky that the thousands of other poor folks who get stuck for years and decades in jails when they were actually innocent.
