The ONLY purpose for yet another thread referencing Michael Vick this is to throw red meat to mob that has gathered here. Beyond that, you are simply adding to the prevalent sentiment here among these "liberals" that criminals all get off easy. Of course using an NFL player isn't exactly an example of the average ex-con, but it sure makes easier to jump on "fuck these criminals" bandwagon, and you've seen that here, as most of the other responses have come from that mob. This "award" is given by the players, they obviously have their own criteria for choosing it and beyond that it is utterly meaningless. It's a private award given by private citizens. Of course you don't really care, after all, you just wanted to stir the Michael Vick pot. Mission accomplished.
