insurance policy in the amount they paid in is because thousands, perhaps millions, of others don't.

Insurance is a profit-generating business and cannot be compared to a benefit that one would get REGARDLESS of whether their parents paid into it or not. Dad could or could not have paid into it, and multiple kids could still get benefits for nearly 18 years.

I would like to see ANY insurance company match that one.
