121. It was worse.
It was fucking depressing. It felt like a dirge.

There was absolutely nothing in that speech to signal any serious action on, or even recognition of, what is happening to our country and to our middle class. We have been transformed from respected citizens into work horses and cash machines for corporate and governmental thieves. We are being systematically bled dry and stripped of our economic protections, and nobody in power with the possible exception of Bernie Sanders seems to be noticing or taking it seriously. Our President either does not get it, or he does not give a damn.

It was fucking surreal. It was a wholesale denial of reality. It was another steaming plateful of the very same shit that is killing us.
