Not terribly progressive, that. And I rather doubt you've been elected the arbiter of who can be twinkled at, and who is to be denied any twinkling. I'm sure if someone wanted to twinkle at that individual, they could do so without fear.
As I said upthread--you really need to be mindful of your comments. If you isolate yourself from the 99 percent--and by that I mean all of those people going about their lives who are not rich, and who are also not camping in urban locales--you risk isolating yourself from your stated goals. You become an echo chamber of self-appointed "cool kids" and the rest of us are just the 99 percent nerds.
There is no hierarchy, and no one's opinion is more valid than another. You don't have to own what others think, or try to change their minds to suit your views.
If you like your twinkle fingers, twinkle on. Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot, or you should not, but by the same token, if people want to be amused by it, what purpose does it serve to ruin their fun? If they don't care for it, fine--it's no skin off your nose...or your fingers, either.
