So I'm watching the "Occupy Everywhere: Michael Moore, Naomi Klein on Next Steps for the Movement Against Corporate Power" video on Democracy Now, and one of the panelist, Occupy Wall Street organizer Patrick Bruner, starts doing the finger thing every time he heard something he agreed with.

OK---I get the use of it when there is a large crowd and you want to see if there is agreement on a plan of action, etc.

But come on--- it's goofy as shit when you're simply having a conversation. mho
