8. As a disabled person
Police need to keep the non disabled and lazy people out of the handicapped slots. In fact, we need more handicapped parking now that the boomers are aging. I get upset when all the handicapped slots are taken and we have to park a long way away like at Costco. Walking is good for you so, if you are able to walk, keep the closest slots available for the overflow of disabled who need to park closer. You never know when it ma be your turn to be handicapped.

I used to take care of my mother who was in a wheelchair and we needed the extra space to put her wheel chair in for her to get out of the car. I'm not in a wheelchair but I do not walk well or far, especially on an up grade like most parking here is.
