The commercials, not that no one watches PBS...
I gave up watching anything other than live sporting events years ago. I record everything and skip every single commercial every single time. 95% of my friends do the same thing. In fact, outside of Super Bowl ads and internet sensations, most people I know couldn't even tell you about more than one or two commercials in the past 18 months.
Advertising is as dead as our consumer economy and nothing is ever going to bring it back...the irony of course is that after successfully staving off commercials for decades, now as they are the last and least effective thing in marketing they will find a home on PBS...lmao!
