I, myself, have called repubicans criminals and I, myself, have been willing to overlook the misdeeds of democrats. The reality, however, is quite different. The connection between criminality and party is mostly anecdotal, with virtually no cause and effect.

That the IMF guy is a French Socialist has been thrown about with abandon by righties who wish to show that lefties are bad, and by lefties who think, because the word "Socialist" is in the guy's resume, that somehow has meaning in their endeavor to discredit those further to the left than themselves.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, if the charges prove true, is a sexual predator. The fact he is a Socialist proves absolutely nothing. If you aver otherwise, it seems pretty clear your intent is to discredit both capital "S" and lower case "s" Socialists.
