I'm choked up and on the verge of tears here... :(
You know, one of the odd things about that day was that, taken as a whole, the sheer number of victims was so overwhelming that it was hard for me to feel anything much but horror at the act itself.
Then the individual stories started to come out.
And that's when the real impact of human suffering hit me. One person's story can be so painful.
