10. Even as a pilot and POW, he wasn't much.
He got shot down because he disobeyed a direct order to return to base and not fly in a particular area (because it was crawling with SAMs). Before that, he crashed 4 other aircraft, also his fault.

And Crash McCain was given the nickname Songbird by the other POWs at the Hanoi Hilton.
