39. A typical gripe of the fake
This criticism of Taibbi is timid establishment nonsense.

For those who aren't DLC operatives, here's the lowdown on Matt Taibbi: he's a mix of Howard Zinn and Hunter S. Thompson. He's not an academic <applause>, takes a flamethrower to weak-ass, sellout policy <more applause> and has something to say about it <riotous applause>. Gawd amighty! In a democracy no less!

Shred 80% of Taibbi's latest column and what remains? A Wall Street bull in the White House who's pwned the marks who campaigned and voted for him, in order to continue the policies of his predecessor. G-Sax pollutes this Administration like none before it, all in full view. Shall we quibble about who polished what part of whose anatomy? Does it matter that much?

Remember what Dr. Thompson advised of Nixon and US politics generally: take hallucinogens and go subjective. It's your only hope of understanding the subject and maintaining some integrity. Anything less is drawing room chatter.
