He mentioned in his talk that he'd been congratulated shortly after Obama won by a complete stranger (a white person) in an airport. He said he looked at the person and asked them "What makes you think I support Obama?!"

They were at a loss for words, obviously they couldn't say "because you're black."

The joke of it is that he is a huge Obama supporter, it was a huge HUGE deal for him. But he wasn't going to let that person off the hook for making that assumption, all the same.
