17. Don't even get me started on that! As though their despicable behavior is OBAMA's fault.
Every weasely DC journalist asks the same question, couched the same way: "Has the president reneged on his promise to bring bipartisanship to Washington?" :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

What more could this President have done to encourage bipartisanship with the Republicans? Rep. Tim Ryan pointed out on the House floor last week that we didn't see Bush spend an entire day with Democrats, patiently listening or see Bush visiting the Democratic Caucus (actually, I think he did -- once in the entire dark 8 years -- towards the end.) But the point remains, Obama has held so many meetings, summits, receptions, etc. with the Republicans, that I read of a Democrat joking that if he wanted to see the President, he should have become a Republican! (With the emphasis on "joking.")

Yet, the question always remains: Has Obama reneged on his promise to bring bipartisanship to Washington?
