115. the team player analogy is a good one
he's like the skilled ball player who won't listen to the coach or associate with the other players.
Slowly but surely Dennis has made himself irrelevant, and I think he likes it that way.
There is nothing to admire about that.
He plays to his small number of groupies and ignores the actual work being done.
He WANTS to be the martyr, throw himself on the sword over and over.
One day his constituents will grow weary of his proud irrelevance.
He will be ousted by another politician who will exploit his irrelevance, and it will be easy.

Party politics at the congressional level is a team sport, like it or not.
Poor unfortunate Dennis has reduced himself the the equivalent of shouting at passing cars.
even when he's right, people have stopped listening.
