7. 6,123 absentee ballots remained to be counted at the end of 11/16

Owens has 69,435; Hoffman 66,484; Scozzafava 7,198. Counts are final in Hamilton, Madison and Oneida Counties. The majority of the absentees remaining are from Clinton and St. Lawrence Counties both of which Owens won. Clinton expects to complete counts and certify tomorrow. St. Lawrence will complete counts Wednesday.
