This is just a counter-swing in the pendulum.

But two years ago or so, there WERE fans and cheerleaders. There WERE tinglings in legs. Obama was suddenly the flavor of the month (if not year) and not just in politics, but in pop-culture as well -- he WAS the "In Thing".

Live by cool, die by cool. The resistance you see to him now, from various angles, is in great part simple embarassment over our collective crush of two years ago.
