Democrat I find myself in agreement with you! Meek is just that MEEK!!! And I fear he will be pretty LAME to boot!

While I'm disappointed that Crist won't really "come out" I DO have to say that at least he has shown some SPINE in the face of the onslaught of TEA-BAGGERS!! Take that comment as ironic or however you want! From all that I've seen from Kendrick Meek, he WILL do the DLC thing and I'm SICK of that side of the Democratic Party!

I've all but given up on ANY influence I may have here in my state of Florida and especially my county which is pretty Ruby Red! After all, Cruella Harris was elected TWO TIMES here, and we have what I know in my heart is a very corrupt Supervisor of Elections!! Despite all her bad acts & PRESS, Kathy Dent is still standing and saying IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY!! And she seems to win no matter what!

So, given the choices at hand, I will do ANYTHING to keep Rubio from gaining ANY power!! And Meek is just not one who has shown me any promise. He's a follower, and one of Rahm's minions! I have been lurking here more than posting these days, but felt a need to add my comments on this one!

Perhaps one day "Chawlie" will find it within his heart to actually come out and deal with what he's been hiding for such a long time! I don't care that he's Gay, I would APPLAUD him for standing up and "doing the RIGHT thing!" And there's another part of me that thinks that deep down "Chawlie" is actually a Democrat, but decided that he wanted to get elected at any cost, so sided with the Repukes! It's too bad he feels he has to hide and it's to bad he actually DOES it! I can't support him on this issue, but given what I as a citizen of Florida am facing I'm trying to give weight to what I've seen from the Democratic Party here! And the Party doesn't stand up for what I always felt about Democrats in general!

This is only conjecture on my part, but he has surprised me by decisions he's made regarding issues that Repukes don't support and gone against the grain! As one who has been rethinking so much of what is going on, I'm NOT comfortable with our present Democratic Political Party! I feel I've been hijacked and make no bones about it. Just wrote Bill Nelson about my feelings today, especially given the fact that where I live we may be facing an ecological disaster! Siesta Key has long been touted as having the "whitest sand beaches in the world" and may soon find this oil spill making that comment a thing of the past!
