the fact that he knew he had no functioning brain cells and was willing to do and say exactly what he was told to do and say. Palin doesn't even have the virtue of self-awareness. She thinks she's the smartest and most edumacated person in the world, which means no handler could keep her on the message and off the crazy and stupid for fifteen minutes at a time.

Edited to add: I don't know how I missed Berry's comment, but he/she said it far better than I did.
