Reply #64: The Naacp's "opinion," per their own statement, was apparently based on fox news reports

In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, NAACP CEO Ben Jealous said that the organization had been "snookered" by conservative media:


"With regard to the initial media coverage of the resignation of USDA official Shirley Sherrod, we have come to the conclusion we were snookered by Fox News and Tea Party Activist Andrew Breitbart into believing she had harmed white farmers because of racial bias.

Having reviewed the full tape, spoken to Ms. Sherrod, and most importantly heard the testimony of the white farmers mentioned in this story, we now believe the organization that edited the documents did so with the intention of deceiving millions of Americans."

they didn't review tapes or check with the farmers, they just offered a useless "opinion" based on fox news reports? uh-huh, sure.

so such "opinion" is no different from just listening to fox.

i don't believe the naacp actually operates that way, nor do i believe the white house does.

it's a cover story to take the heat off the wh & deflect it to the naacp.
