For that matter, I know plenty of people with no college education who think they have nothing left to learn. And there are plenty of people out there without an education in my field who think they know more about my field than I do, when it's clear that they do not. There is clearly value to both experience and education.

On edit: People also have to accept that sometimes there are people fresh out of college who DO know more than people who have more direct experience. It's foolish and bad business to think otherwise. I have little doubt that I probably saved a company millions of dollars because my education prepared me for the job, unlike many colleagues who didn't learn the regulations and proper safety protocols after decades on the job.
