26. I would never expatriate.

I am an American. I love my country. I love my country's system of government, though I'll be the first to say it needs to be repaired. I believe in freedom. I believe in representative government. I believe our government - yes, I know most of you consider me naive for this, but it's true - I believe our government will be responsive to the will of the people if ever we can stop fighting among ourselves long enough to make our demands clear.

I love my country so much that if it's going down, I'm going down with it.
