7. I sometimes have high school (usually 16 or 17) students in
my classrooms because of a cooperative arrangement the college has with the county school district. Dislike it. It's not that they're bad or obnoxious or stupid - most are quite bright. But they are not adults, legally or socially, and having them in my class puts limits on what I - and the adult students in the class - feel comfortable discussing.
I suspect that there might even be legal limitations on the topics I can raise . . . even if not, I really don't want to have to deal with an irate parent who didn't WANT little Janey or Johnny learning about brothel prostitution or seeing photos taken of the victims of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, or atomic testing by the US.

I also think it's wrong to push a child into an adulthood. Let this young girl be a young girl. She's got plenty of time for an education, but she'll only have one childhood.
