Actually, what is funniest about the whole thing is how little human beings change over time.

The Nazis, when they were coming up, were something new, designed using the latest principles of propaganda and psychological manipulation, so all those people couldn't process what was going on, couldn't and WOULDN'T believe what they were seeing.

The tiniest of figleaves covered the Nazis' true intentions. Anyone with half-consciousness could see where it was going (like Sebastian Haffner, author of "Defying Hitler", who was so accurate in his predictions that when his book was finally published by his son in 2000, it had to be authenticated because people wouldn't believe that it wasn't written in retrospect).

Our version, of course, is not Nazism, beacuse now Nazism is old and people would notice it coming, so it has been Americanized and upgraded to Goebbels v2.0.

And what has happened...is happening?

THE SAME THING as happened when the Nazis were a "new brand", the Bushocorporate State is something new, designed using the latest principles of propaganda and psychological manipulation, so all those people couldn't process what was going on, couldn't and WOULDN'T believe what they were seeing.

Even now, 99.9% of people can't or won't see it. Some things just never change much.
