100. That is a popular assumption -
- but if the media had done its job the Congress would never have authorized the Iraq invasion. And if Bush had gone ahead with it anyway, and the media continued to do its job, Bush would be sitting in prison today.

The media is indeed largely responsible for the Iraq invasion -- as well as a lot more of the Bush Administration's many crimes. But in the final analysis all of it is the fault of the general public for permitting the media to be what it's become.
