On the specific point of why so many officers are sent in response to a call involving weapons, or in the case of drug busts the presumption of presence of weapons, the strategy was developed to minimize the injury and death to cops. As I wrote before, it's created a bit of a siege mentality and that in turn creates more fear OF cops in communities.


That's hilarious --

We have citizens arming themselves because they fear their neighbors who have guns.

We have police officers armed because criminals are armed.

And, we have goverment working overtime to arm the public with guns/weapons!

And now you say we have to send more heavily armed swat teams because . . .

of the possibility of weapons!!
