The Assault on Reason/ How the Politics of Fear, Secrecy, and Blind Faith Subvert Wise Decision Making, Degrade Our Democracy, and Put Our Country and Our World in Peril

It speaks to us to be the catalyst for change. We cannot have a truly Democratic government with leaders we deserve until WE stand up to that politics of fear, secrecy and blind faith. And unfortunately, we haven't really done that as of yet since Bush and his criminals are still there, because that kind of politics has become a part of the entire party system. One election is not going to reverse the damage done over decades. That is what I believe Mr. Gore is saying. The task before us now is as monumental as it was for the first Americans under the first King George. This will require more than a primary or some balloons and confetti. This will require a moral courage on the part of Americans collectively that we honestly have not seen in quite some time.
