The city finally showed up on my street with the snowplow last night. It's been a mess up here in the San Bernardino Mountains since last Tuesday when it started snowing. Depending on who you ask, and where they are in town, we got between three and five feet of snow. Here's what it looks like today:

This is my Wife's Chevy Tahoe, parked in the neighbor's driveway because our driveway is on a very steep slope and we park there so as to have a guaranteed way out if it snows really hard. Didn't work this time.


This is my driveway, seen from in front of where the Tahoe is parked. Notice the ten foot tall mound of snow at the bottom of the driveway. That's nothing compared to what's behind it.


Turning around where I stood, this is the view of my street.
