the crowds did not get nasty until they went for more than 4 days without life giving necessities.

Edited to add that even after 4 days the majority stood calmly and patiently for food and water they desperately needed. Perhaps you underestimate the people who are actually watching their loved ones die.

I wonder how patient many here would be if forced to wait for LIFE SAVING water for their children. People cannot even be civil and patient on damned message boards.

A life is a life is a life is a life...whether it be an aid worker or an old man under some rubble. People would do well to remember this.
