As you can see, they don't believe in the concept of a hate crime, that this attack was equivalent to Kanye West's outburst and that hate crime is unconstitutional.

They refuse to admit that race had anything to do with it, including the original poster's comment:

Okay, so this fellow is accused of hitting a black lady, and so that is a hate crime. He hit her in front of her child, so the feds are also adding "cruelty to children" in there as well, for good measure.

But this isn't a hate crime, even though it took place around children as well. And this is definitely not a hate crime. Definitely not. Neither is this although it kind of seems that way to me. This is also not a hate crime in fact how dare you even think that it is. Jimmy Carter is right. You're all a bunch of racists. Erase the hate!
