By starting from the position that a public option was the ultimate goal, we're now going to get negotiated down to a 1.87% decrease in costs amortized over 10 years.

Bank on it. We threw away our best starting negotiating position before we even started and thus will lose it all as the money grubbing congress and it's even greedier bankrollers - the healthcare industry - smell our timidity and run roughshod over us.

I am so not surprised. Angry. But not surprised.
