The working poor, lower middle class, the traditional core of the Democratic Party-- the party that has become more invested in Republican Lites.

More people realize that corporations "are causing the problems" than many people realize. IMO it's the more affluent that tend to think less affluent are too stupid to get it-- which makes it convenient for the more affluent to ignore it themselves. If you listen to hard-working folks lower on the ladder, they may sound like those dreaded "third party" types who see the corporate party with two wings running this great nation into the ground.
