but "proof reading" is the proper thing to do. It only takes a couple of extra minutes, and shows you respect your audience as much as your own emotions. Can you imagine being moved by a speaker who constantly distracted you from their message with mispronunciations and grammatical errors? Who does that remind you of? hint: past 8 years.
