I'm pleased to announce that Jennifer Loven will succeed Terry Hunt as White House Correspondent. Jennifer, who has reported on the Bush White House for The Associated Press since 2002, is a leader at the AP and in the White House press corps. She is president of the White House Correspondents' Association. Jennifer has been a Washington reporter for 11 years. Prior to joining the White House staff, she covered the Pentagon post-Sept. 11, the telecom and housing industries and Illinois regional issues. Loven covered the Michigan legislature and state politics from 1996-97 and was the AP's lead breaking news and features writer in Detroit from 1994-1996. She is a native of Charlotte, N.C., and a graduate of the University of Virginia and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
