I am not being sarcastic, rather sincere when I explain that "Liberty or Freedom" is interpreted to mean freedom to earn and spend your own money. Taxation is viewed as coercion.

Norquist has often stated --starve the beast. In other words keep cutting taxes until their is no money for the "New Deal Programs". and we have freed ourselves of the programs.
Until Democrats understand this, we will be talking past each other.
