15. Spying on journalists to blackmail them?
I don't doubt it in the least. I think he was spying on congress as well.

Remember the congratulations phone call by Bush to the newly seated Jim Webb as senator of Virgina? And right off the bat he mentions his son in Iraq? I thought Bush was threatening Webb's son's safety in Iraq. The reason I point this out is I have no doubt this was going on without our knowledge for journalists and congress as well. If you remember congress was giving Bush everything he wanted to the last minute. Blackmail is the only thing that makes sense, and spying is exactly what you need to blackmail somebody.
