7. The issue is the AVERAGE temperature will rise
The rise in the average affects the weather to act extremely in given years, be calm the next year, etc.

Reading the Farmers Almanac, they pooh-pooh the very idea of global warming and say we are now headed into a cooling trend. They have about an 80% accuracy in their predictions and have been around a long time. Still, they doesn't account for the fact that the ice cores reveal that our current melt rate is faster than in the last 40,000 years.
