I feel bad for your girls. Breaking into a locked shed is a whole different category of vile than even grabbing an unlocked bike off the sidewalk. The latter in itself is bad enough, but the owner in that case might kick themselves and say they should have secured their property. In your case, you did everything right and someone still messed you over. I can't help, but I can sympathize. And hope that karma bites the thief in the ass.
