87. This 'spread the wealth' and 'socialism' crap on the McCain ads and this interview are bogus.
It's been written time and time again that Obama's plan would give more tax relief to the middle class than McCain's, which give most benefits to the wealthy. Yet, the McCain ads show these supposed 'middle class' people saying THEY'RE Joe the Plumber and acting disgusted that Obama wants to tax them more than they already are.

Biden has explained that the wealthiest in this country have seen their tax rates declline while deficit spending has skyrocketed. It's time to roll those cuts back to what they were pre-Bush and get this country's financial house in order. You're not going to accomplish this by staying in Iraq to the tune of $10 billion a month, keeping tax breaks for companies outsourcing U.S. jobs and allowing the richest people to pay a lower tax rates.

I'm through with hearing these Repubs distorting the conversations because they don't know what they're talking about. When a farmer bitches about Obama's 'socialist' plan, I'll throw back at them about the farm program that has brought thousands of dollars to his pockets. When an old fart calls Obama a socialist, I tell them they receive Social Security and Medicare benefits.

The hypocrisy from these people is just amazing.
