You should keep it on that thread.

Furthermore, although you said "I am not here to spin my wheels or waste time being sociable.", you picked a thread that was critical of DU and you have taken a rather unchallenging, uncontroversial self-congratulatory position that is likely to earn you lots of brownie points with others who felt hurt by that thread.
