GOP election tricks

This thread reminded me of a trick a right wing blog tried here. And I am hoping this idea hasn't spread. But in case it has . . .

The guy who runs this blog used Google Street View to look up addresses of registered voters (mostly Democrats) in largely low income minority neighborhoods. He then compared the addresses to the street views and claimed people were registering to vote using vacant house and vacant lot addresses.

The idiot didn't realize that Google Street View shows the view of the street from the front door. So if you Google your address, you see what you see if you are standing at your front door. If you live across the street from a vacant lot, that's what you get when you look up your address on Google Street View - a vacant lot.

Now who wants to bet that the GOP will have trained poll watchers in polling places in November challenging the voters who this idiot exposed as using fraudulent addresses on his blog.

No I am not going to link to his blog. If you want to see it, PM me.

And watch out for this trick from your local GOP.
