Can't speak to the race angle. The arresting officer and the victims race has not been identified in anything that I have read. IT was not raised by the perp or her lawyer either.

As for having things thrown at me , I have been riding for 35 years. Its only in the last 5 that MC riders have really become targets. There was always the occasional asshole, and its worse around schools and in traffic. I commute on one daily unless there is ice and snow on the ground.

In CA we are allowed to lane split, which has always annoyed cagers. Then again, there are ways of dealing with that too.
