I respect Gore for his newly found position as Climate Change Guru of Planet Earth. Really, I do. If he'd run for President on that issue in 2000, I would have voted for him. Now, he's recognized WORLD-WIDE as a leader, while Bush is UNIVERSALLY ridiculed. That's strong.

Why would he want to give that up and dive into the cesspool of American presidential politics?

Let's face the truth here: Being POTUS come 2008 is gonna be a LIABILITY rather than an ASSET.

Again: I respect Gore's stance. He WON'T run. He's in a much better place now.
