Sorry, I am amongst the disillusioned that Al is going to run. I don't think that he could walk away from the responsibility to bail our country out of this deep crisis.
Our entire system of democracy is at stake. If he is a patriot, and I believe that he is, he will not shun us in our darkest hour.
I know that there are many DUer's that would like to see Clark as his running mate. I really don't want a military man as VP. I would like to see a smooth talking diplomat. Gore is an intellectual: a thinker. He will need a schmoozer.
