If you read the entire article, the author stated that there is evidence of cases that are languishing due to the budget shortage. The US Attorney offices around the country are losing key personnel as well, those who could have cleaned up the mess after the Boy King goes back to his ranch. We'll be left with Regent grads and Kool-Aid drinkers for the foreseeable future.

One might also want to consider the idea that the DOJ is being starved of money for the same reasons several other entities are -- is the current administration casting its eye towards privatization, for instance?
