86. Wow, you're seriously dead wrong on a few things.
Don't ever for one second think that WE THE PEOPLE sent this country's military to wholesale occupy a sovereign nation that never attacked one American citizen EVER and destroy their country. That is solely the action of this Fuhrer asshole of a "president", his corporate puppetmasters and his rubberstamp congress (including a couple'a Democratic presidential candidates). The people DID NOT VOTE FOR, nor did they choose to have, this illegal occupation. WE THE PEOPLE didn't choose nearly 3800 soldiers or thousands upon thousands of Iraqis to die for the whims of the Cheneys, Raymonds, Bushes and Rices of the world. The corporations and their media steered the public in favor of the Failure Fuhrer, shat upon and marginalized our Democratic candidates every chance they got (much like they do with tin-pot, pro-US-interests dictatorships they set up in other countries), and were instrumental in the theft of the presidency each time. Bewsh was winning the "election" in 2000 come hell or high water solely for this reason and in 2004 to keep the money train going. So don't tell us that WE chose this.

Now in regards to your other laughable statement:

"When enough people demand of our politicians and our President to stop this war, they can come home."

So . . . there HAVEN'T been any demonstrations at all? There WASN'T a change of the guard in Congress in 2006? I suppose we the people are ALSO to blame for the media not broadcasting the demonstrations (just because you don't see it on TV doesn't mean hundreds of thousands DIDN'T take to the streets) and for the Congress we elected being a blank-check-as-usual-to-the-Cabal JOKE?

We're making our voice heard. There's a demonstration coming up in DC on the 15th. Will you be there?

I want to know how, when I voice my opinion in protest, it's my fault for not being disobedient enough to get an arrest record and a felony tacked to my ass while everyone else watches and turns their heads because of the very real fear of arrest and murder by goons?

I want to know how, when we elected a democratic congress to stop funding this war, that it is somehow OUR fault that they instead gave the Failure Fuhrer the genuflect and subsequent shoe-shine?

What exactly would make do with you? An attempted armed takeover of the White House?

Gee, maybe we could do just that. 138 million of us could rise up, abandon our livelihoods, financial situation be damned, and storm the White House and the homes of the uber-wealthy plutocrats like Lee Raymond, Dick Cheney, Larry Ellison, the China Mart Family, etc. The nation as well as the entire world's economy (especially our major trading partners, THANKS to said rich people, China and India) would be thrown into mass upheaval. Thousands upon thousands of us can get nuked and dusted by Blackwater, button-pusher Cheney and the police, all of whom would protect the interests of the "betters". Those that succeed somehow in getting past them and onto the homes of the rich and fascist will find them either suicided or fled to Paraguay. We wouldn't have a nation's capital because it'd be radiated or blood-drenched, as would our major cities.

And then what happens?

Would someone in the population know how to rebuild everything from scratch again? How long would that take? What sort of government would arise? What would stop it from being as predatory as the last one?

You think you're dealing with a Nixonesque bunch here? Those guys are long, LONG gone. This is an authoritarian by-any-means-necessary-corporatocracy now. They couldn't care less about our voice. They couldn't care LESS about our future. Time value of money models and mercenary economics are how they own and operate. 3-4 million people around the world were in the street before 2003. They went to occupy anyway.

At least Nixon, shitty of a president as he was, had a sense of country and legacy. These people don't care about popularity. They never have.

We TRIED caring. I guess we failed because we chose to go through life trying simply to pay our bills and raise our children right, which is difficult enough as it is. I guess we failed because the US isn't passionate enough to want to turn DC into a gorewash. You frog march politicians and you still have the corporations to deal with.

Our military, bless them all, are being lied to and cheated. And that is the biggest disgrace of all.
